How this tool works

1. Create a sample — every electrode gets a permanent id (EL-…) and a printable QR sticker for its bag.
2. Log everything — notes, files, and status changes build the sample's timeline. Entries are signed with your account.
3. Surface captures — tick “surface capture” on a logbook entry to record Face A + Face B at a process stage.
4. Visualise & compare — the sample's Surface visualisation page shows all captures; pick one (both faces) or two (before/after) and zoom, pan, or blink-compare.
5. Mark findings — toggle Mark in the viewer and click the image to pin defects/scratches with a title, type and comment. Markers feed the sample report and the markers CSV.

Keyboard shortcuts

Roles: viewers read everything; members add/edit their own entries, captures and markers; admins also manage users and delete samples.
